Personal selling, sales management, and executive sales strategy are the three focal points of this course. Each semester the students take on a sales-related project from a company in order to apply the skills that they’ve learned to a real-world challenge. In past years, students have completed projects for major retail, manufacturing, and entertainment brands. Projects related to hiring, training, incentives, and leadership are a great fit for this course. Additionally, a strong project topic would be a plan for updating sales processes to fit the needs of the millennial consumer.
